On December 10, rating agency Expert-Rating reaffirmed the long-term credit rating of Agroprosperis Bank at uaAA level, which characterizes very high creditworthiness, and the rating of deposit reliability at the highest level ua1.
The agency concluded that in 2018 Agroprosperis Bank significantly exceeded all NBU requirements, maintained very high quality of the loan portfolio and showed a significant increase in its profits.
Thus, at the end of the 6 months of 2018, Agroprosperis Bank received UAH 8.2 million profit, while during the 12 months of 2017 the profit amounted to UAH 6.4 million. An increase in the Bank’s profitability was due to a marked increase in net interest income to UAH 37 million for the first half of 2018, which is twice as much as for the same period in 2017.
In the opinion of the agency, Bank's loan portfolio has very high quality, because there are no loans to individuals, and the share of non-working loans to legal entities (NPL) as of August 1, 2018 amounted to a record 0.01% with the average value of the share of NPL in the banking system at 55%.
According to the results of the rating agency, during the whole period Agroprosperis Bank complied with all liquidity ratios at levels that significantly exceed not only the requirements of the NBU, but also average amounts throughout the banking system, and its regulatory capital amounted to UAH 357 million while the minimum requirement was UAH 200 million.
