Warning when using a bank card

Warnings:

Possible consequences for the client in case of using a banking service or failure to fulfill his obligations under the agreement on the provision of this banking service:

- accepting the conditions of the public offer on the rules and conditions for the provision of banking services for customers - individuals and the terms and conditions of a bank account provided for in the agreement, operations on which can be carried out using electronic means of payment, the client undertakes to pay for the relevant banking services in accordance with the Bank's tariffs;

- in case of violation of the terms of the agreement and in cases determined by the terms of the agreement, the bank has the right to suspend (temporarily) all or individual operations on and / or block the card, refuse to serve the client;

- in accordance with the norms of the current legislation of Ukraine, income received by the client in accordance with the terms of the Bank Account Agreement, transactions on which can be carried out using taxable electronic means of payment.

The bank is prohibited from requiring the customer to purchase any goods or services from the bank or a related or related person as a prerequisite for the provision of these services (except for the provision of a package of banking services).

The Bank does not have the right to unilaterally amend the agreements concluded with clients, unless otherwise provided by the agreement or the law.

The client has the right to withdraw from the contract for the provision of financial services, if such a right is provided for in the terms of the contract, but before the start of the provision of any service under such contract and before the start of the provision of service under any other contract that is related to the fulfillment of obligations under the contract for the provision of financial services, from which the Client intends to withdraw. The client may exercise his right to withdraw from the contract for the provision of financial services by submitting an application to the Bank to terminate the contract for the provision of financial services.

The Bank's clients have the right to refuse to receive advertising materials by means of remote communication channels.

Warning when using the credit limit

Possible consequences for the Client in case of using the banking service or non-fulfillment of obligations under the agreement on the provision of this banking service:
- accepting the terms of the public offer on the rules and conditions of banking services (hereinafter - the Agreement) for Customers - individuals and the terms of the bank account agreement, transactions which may be carried out using electronic means of payment, the Client undertakes to pay for relevant banking services Bank's tariffs;
- when obtaining a loan from the borrower there are costs in the form of interest, commissions and other payments for the Bank's services, in accordance with the terms of the Agreement;
- in case of late repayment of credit debt or other violations of the terms of the Agreement, the borrower may be subject to penalties in accordance with the terms of the Agreement;
- in case of improper fulfillment by the borrower of its obligations under the terms of the Agreement, the Bank has the right to apply to the relevant state authorities in order to meet its requirements, including compulsorily;
- term of credit limit (credit) - 12 months. In this case, the term of the loan is extended for every next 12 months, if at least 15 calendar days before the expiration date of the loan the Bank does not notify the Client of the termination of the loan;
- The Client has the right to withdraw from the Agreement without explanation within 14 calendar days from the date of the agreement, which the Client notifies the Bank in writing. If the Client submits the notice not in person, it must be notarized or submitted and signed by a representative with a power of attorney to perform such actions. Within seven calendar days from the date of submission of the written notice of withdrawal from the Agreement, the Client is obliged to return to the Bank the funds received under the Agreement and pay interest for the period from the date of receipt to the date of return at the rate specified in the Agreement;
- The Client has the right to terminate or terminate the Agreement by early full repayment of the loan. Any penalties in case of early (full or partial) repayment of the loan are not accrued and are not paid;
- The Client has the right to repay the Loan in full or in part at any time, including by increasing the amount of the Mandatory Minimum Payment, and to pay interest for the use of the Loan for the period of actual use of the Loan;
- information about the Borrower may be provided to the Bureau of Credit Histories, Credit Register;
- in case of violation of the terms of the Agreement and in cases specified in the terms of the Agreement, the Bank has the right to suspend (temporarily) all or some operations on and / or block the card, refuse to serve the Client;


The Bank is prohibited from requiring the Client to purchase any goods or services from the Bank or a related or related person as a mandatory condition for the provision of these services (except for the provision of a package of banking services).

The Bank has no right to amend the agreements concluded with the Clients unilaterally, unless otherwise provided by the Agreement or the law.

Daily card limits

In order to reduce the possible financial losses that may be associated with the forgery or fraudulent use of a payment card or its details, the Bank has set limits on the amounts of transactions that can be conducted using the card. These restrictions are set taking into account the potential risk depending on the type of operation (payment or withdrawal of cash), the country in which the transaction is being conducted, and the type of goods / services paid by the card.

Daily limits set on Agroprosperis Bank cards:

  • Cash withdrawal at ATMs – the equivalent of USD 800, 15 operations;
  • Settlements in the trading network and the Internet – equivalent of USD 4,000, 10 transactions;
  • Cash withdrawal at the Bank's cash desks – within the account balance;
  • Transactions via ATMs (payments) – the equivalent of USD 400, 10 transactions;
  • Transfers via ATMs or Internet – the equivalent of USD 800, 10 transactions.

On request, you can increase your card daily limit in online-banking or by calling the Customer Service Center at

0 800 505 555 (toll-free in Ukraine), +380 (44) 290 93 10.

Maximum card limits:

  • Cash withdrawal in ATMs – the equivalent USD 4,000, 20 operations;
  • Settlements in the trade network and the Internet – the equivalent USD 20,000, 20 operations;
  • Transfers via ATMs (payments) - the equivalent of USD 1,000, 10 transactions.
  • Transfers via ATMs  - the equivalent of USD 1,500, 20 transactions;
  • Transfers via Internet - the equivalent of USD 3,000, 20 transactions.

All payment cards issued by Agroprosperis Bankare international and can be used to withdraw cash from ATMs and pay for goods and services abroad at points where the Visa international payment system logo is present.

Useful tips for card payments abroad or on foreign websites

  • if the currency of the country is EUR, we recommend using a card in EUR, if the currency of the country is USD – a card in USD. Thus, you exclude conversion;
  • only the account holder can top up a currency card account, any natural person can top up an UAH card account. Thus, if you may need to replenish card account by third parties, we recommend using an UAH card;
  • if the country's currency is different from USD or EUR, we recommend using a card in USD. The currency of Visa IPS calculations is USD, and you will be able to avoid exchange rate losses from double conversion;
  • when paying by card for purchases or withdrawing cash from ATMs abroad, we recommend choosing the national currency of the country as the settlement currency. This will allow to avoid exchange rate losses from double conversion.

Calculating the amount of blocking and debiting of funds when carrying out transactions in the event that the currency of transactions is different from the currency of the card account

For transactions abroad using cards issued in the national currency of Ukraine:

  • in the event of a transaction in USD, funds are debited from the account in the amount of the transaction converted into the currency of the account at the exchange rate for card operations by the bank on the date of the transaction.
  • in the event of a transaction in a currency other than the USD, funds are debited from the account in the amount of the transaction converted to USD at the Visa IPS rate, with further conversion into the national currency at the exchange rate for card operations by the bank on the date of the transaction.

For transactions within Ukraine using cards issued in foreign currency:

  •  funds are debited from the account in the amount of the transaction converted into the currency of the account at the exchange rate for card operations by the bank on the date of the transaction.

For transactions abroad using cards issued in foreign currency:

  • if the transaction is carried out in USD or EUR, the funds are debited from the account in the amount of the transaction, if the currency of the transaction and the account are the same, or in the amount converted to the currency of the account at the Visa exchange rate on the date of the transaction, if the currency of the transaction and Account currency is excellent.
  • if the transaction is carried out in currencies other than the USD, the funds will be debited in the amount of the transaction converted into the USD currency at the Visa MPS exchange rate on the date of the transaction.

An SMS message is sent when the amount is blocked. Due to the fact that there is a difference between the time of blocking the amount on the account and its actual withdrawal, there may be a difference between the amount of funds blocked and debited from the account.

The size of the commission for currency conversion on card accounts is determined by the bank's tariffs.

Using the card abroad

For the security of transactions using payment cards abroad, the bank reserves the right to set limits, namely: to regulate the amounts of transactions made with a payment card within a specified period. In high-fraud-risk countries, the bank may impose additional restrictions on transactions involving payment cards. These measures are taken exclusively to ensure the safety of transactions and prevent fraudulent activities.

To enhance the security of international transactions, please inform the bank about your card usage in other countries before your trip by contacting the bank's support numbers listed on the back of the card: 0 800 505 555 (toll-free in Ukraine) or +38 (044) 290 93 10 (according to your cell phone plan).

Before traveling abroad, check your card's expiration date. If the card is about to expire, please visit your service branch in advance to request a card renewal.

To monitor transactions and conveniently manage your card account, install the AP Bank online banking service, where you can adjust your card's limit ranges and block the card in case of loss or suspected fraudulent activity.

  • about the loss of a bank payment card

In case of loss or withdrawal of the card during the transaction, as well as in case the PIN code of the card became known to another person, the Client is obliged, as soon as possible, to inform the Bank about this and to block the operation of the card by 24-hour telephone numbers:
0-800-505-555 (toll-free in Ukraine) and 044-290-93-10 (Customer Service Center). Verbal notification must be confirmed by a written statement addressed to the Bank.

  • about unauthorized access or change of client information in remote service systems

In the event of unauthorized access to your account in the AP Bank SDBO, or in the event of the possibility of such unauthorized access, or if you notice a change in the information in the AP Bank SDBO (personal data, information about the services/products registered with the bank, accounts and balances of funds made operations, etc.), in case of loss of a financial phone number (SIM card) or a mobile phone with a financial number, contact the Bank's technical support for users at the phone number 0 800 300 170 (toll-free in Ukraine) or +38 (044) 392 93 73

  • about detected phishing websites or received information of similar content

If you received an e-mail (including from any address of the Bank) with a request to notify or confirm your login or password - do not respond to the request. Remember, the Bank never asks for such user data regarding login and password. Call the Bank's user technical support service at 0 800 300 170 (toll-free in Ukraine) or +38 (044) 392 93 73 and report the incident.
Always perform a visual check of the site's domain name to ensure that it is an official and not a phishing page of attackers using the guidelines for detecting phishing websites.

3D Secure - secure online payments

The 3D Secure service from Agroprosperis Bank is a technology of secure Internet payments, developed by Visa international payment system.

The technology allows to additionally identify the cardholder during the transaction and reduce the risk of payment card fraud. The identification of the cardholder consists in the obligatory introduction of a one-time confirmation code, which is sent by the bank to the customer's mobile number during the operation and is valid for a short period of time only for this operation.

The 3D Secure service is activated automatically and free of charge for Agroprosperis Bank clients who use the GSM-Banking service to inform about card account transactions.

To pay online for goods and services using 3D Secure:

  • check the availability of the Verified by Visa logo on the website, which indicates the use of this technology;
  • select a product or service and click Pay;
  • enter the details of your card;
  • receive an SMS with a one-time four-digit password and enter it in the appropriate field.
  • when the password is entered successfully, the payment is made.

If the seller's site does not use this technology, payment is made without additional identification.
