Disclosure of information regarding clients' relations with the aggressor state in accordance with the requirements of NBU Resolution No. 26

During its activity, Agroprosperis Bank is obliged to reveal and document information about the connections of clients and their counterparties with the state that is carrying out armed aggression against Ukraine.

The relevant requirements were approved by the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine dated March 16, 2023 No. 26 "On Disclosure of Information Regarding Clients' Relationships with the State Carrying Out Armed Aggression Against Ukraine."

The collection and documentation of the specified information will contribute to increasing transparency regarding the clients of banks that have ties to the aggressor state, and to the detection of the hidden presence of the aggressor state on the Ukrainian market. And it will also ensure the fulfillment of the requirements of the legislation regarding the submission of relevant reporting, approved by the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine dated October 6, 2023 No. 126 "On Approval of Amendments to the Rules for the Organization of Statistical Reporting Submitted to the National Bank of Ukraine".

Procedure for clients to provide information on relations with the aggressor state

When establishing business relations, the bank's clients fill out a questionnaire, which, starting on May 17, 2023, already contains questions to reveal information about ties with the aggressor state.

During the validity of the banking service agreement, clients are obliged to provide the bank with information for proper verification of the client's ties with the aggressor state, as well as to update the previously provided information and to inform as soon as possible about changes in the provided information.

In case of refusal to provide the information provided for in Regulation 26, or provision of knowingly false information, the bank is obliged to refuse service to such a client.
