Agroprosperis Bank has increased its charter capital for a second time this year

On November 28, 2017 Agroprosperis Bank increased its charter capital almost by half to UAH 310 million.

The Agroprosperis Bank's sole shareholder Agro Holdings (Ukraine) Limited took the decision to increase the bank’s charter capital on October 13, 2017, and necessary funds in the amount of UAH 100 million were paid into account on November 28, 2017.

According to Serhii Shchepanskyi, the Chairman of the Management Board of Agroprosperis Bank, additional funds were raised in order to increase the amount of agricultural sector financing. "We see a significant need for financial resources and growing demand for loans among the small and medium-sized farmers. This will be especially noticeable from the beginning of 2018 due to the spread of crop receipts to the entire territory of Ukraine, because our bank for two years has been systematically lending under crop receipts and will continue to actively use this innovative tool," he said.

Totally, during the year 2017, Agroprosperis Bank has doubled its charter capital, expanded the product line for farmers and nearly tripled its loan portfolio in the agricultural sector, which indicates the shareholder’s interest in the bank’s development and its long-term plans in the Ukrainian market.
