On December 8, 2017, the rating agency Expert Rating has made a decision to assign to Agroprosperis Bank a long-term credit rating on the national scale at the uaAA level (very high creditworthiness) and a deposit rating on the national scale at ua1 level (the highest rating).
In assigning the rating, the Agency was guided by an analysis of the Bank's reporting, an analysis of its results for 2016-2017, as well as data on the Bank’s shareholder and its business.
RA Expert Rating has come to the conclusion that Agroprosperis Bank has an unprecedentedly high external support of the shareholder and, throughout the analysis period, maintained extremely high stocks in accordance with the regulatory capital adequacy ratio and liquidity standards.
As of September 30, 2017, 95% of the loans issued by the Bank to legal entities belonged to 1-5 categories of borrowers, according to the NBU classification, which the agency interprets as a high quality loan portfolio. Also, during 2017, the Bank significantly increased net interest and net commission income as well as results from foreign currency trading, which, according to the Agency, indicates the Bank's possible yield to profitable operations in the coming reporting periods.
