On August 1, 2024, in accordance with the requirements of the NBU Board Resolution № 87 dated 17.07.2024, the gradual withdrawal of 500 UAH banknotes from the 2003–2007 series from cash circulation will begin, with the aim of gradually replacing them with more secure banknotes of the 2014 series and subsequent years. In connection with this, Agroprosperis Bank will:
- only conduct deposit transactions with legal entities and individuals for crediting to accounts, deposits, letters of credit, and for executing payment operations for 500 UAH banknotes of the 2003–2007 series;
- not issue such banknotes from its cash desks.
The gradual replacement of banknotes will not affect cash transactions for citizens, as 500 UAH banknotes of the old series remain valid legal tender and can be used without restriction without the need for exchange.
