Agroprosperis Bank was the first among banks to finance an agrarian note

Agroprosperis Bank became the first bank in Ukraine to finance an agricultural producer using an agrarian note — a new digital instrument for raising funds secured by future harvests. The amount of UAH 1 million was raised by the agricultural enterprise LLC "Rasavka", operating in Kyiv region, secured by the 2025 corn crop.

The agrarian note is a modern credit instrument in the form of an electronic security, which combines the flexibility of сrop receipts with the advantages of digital accounting. This format significantly simplifies execution, reduces administrative burden, and ensures effective interaction between the agricultural producer and the lender.

Agroprosperis Bank, which specializes in financing small and medium-sized agribusinesses, has remained an innovator in implementing modern financial solutions for the agricultural sector for ten years. In 2016, the bank was the first in Ukraine to provide financing under financial сrop receipts, and today confirms its leadership by becoming the first bank to finance an agrarian note.

The first agrarian note in Ukraine was issued by our colleagues from the Agroprosperis Group — another confirmation that innovation, modern approaches, and a focus on sustainable development are the foundation of our daily work. The issuance of a financial agrarian note has become a logical continuation of this approach and a symbolic event marking the bank's 10th anniversary, which we are celebrating this month. For 10 years, we have been devoted to supporting the prosperity of Ukrainian agricultural producers and remain committed to this mission.

"Agrarian notes make financing for the agricultural sector more accessible, transparent, and structured. At Agroprosperis Bank, we are constantly improving financial solutions for farmers, which is why we support the implementation of this instrument and are pleased to become the first bank to act as a lender for this already third agrarian note in Ukraine. This was made possible by the inspiring experience of the Agroprosperis Group and the tremendous efforts in introducing this instrument, as well as support from the International Finance Corporation and the National Depository of Ukraine," said Serhii Shchepanskyi, Chairman of the Management Board of Agroprosperis Bank.

"The agrarian note has become a new and modern way for us to raise financing. It allows us to focus on production without being distracted by the search for other collateral. Registration of the instrument with the NDU provides an additional level of confidence for all parties involved," said Anatolii Ivanovych Shevchuk, founder and director of LLC "Rasavka".

"Each new agrarian note is a step towards a mature financial infrastructure for the agricultural sector. We have implemented a centralized Register of Agrarian Notes, which ensures market transparency and accountability. This gives the instrument trust from creditors and convenience for agricultural producers," commented Maryna Adamovska, member of the Management Board of PJSC "NDU".

Agroprosperis Bank is the only bank in Ukraine that specializes in financing small and medium-sized agribusinesses. Deep understanding of the agricultural sector and access to the best practices of the Agroprosperis Group allow the bank to offer not only financing but also expert support for building a sustainable business. The implementation of agrarian notes is a logical continuation of the strategy to develop modern, convenient, and effective financial solutions for Ukraine’s agricultural sector.
